Andrei Dragoi est un professionnel distingué doté d’une expertise unique dans les domaines de la psychiatrie et de la musique. Élevé au Canada, où il a poursuivi sa formation académique, il est retourné en Roumanie, son pays natal, pour obtenir son diplôme de médecine. Après avoir terminé ses études de médecine, il a entrepris une résidence en psychiatrie en Suisse, où il a depuis mené une carrière fructueuse dans divers hôpitaux psychiatriques et cliniques privées.
Depuis 2019, Andrei exerce en Suisse, où il a également achevé ses études postuniversitaires à Lausanne. Durant cette période, il s’est spécialisé en thérapie systémique familiale et en hypnose sous la direction du Dr Gérard Salem, une figure de proue dans le domaine jusqu’à son décès en 2018.
Après la disparition du Dr Salem, Andrei a ouvert son propre cabinet privé, où il continue d’exercer en tant que psychiatre et psychothérapeute. Par ailleurs, il intervient comme consultant invité et superviseur à la clinique Insight Consultation de Monthey.
Une partie de son activité professionnelle se déroule à l’étranger, où il propose des consultations et des thérapies en ligne avec une grande flexibilité.
Les domaines de spécialisation d’Andrei sont vastes, englobant la psychiatrie générale et la psychothérapie, la thérapie familiale et de couple avec un accent sur les abus et la violence, la thérapie de groupe, l’hypnose et la musicothérapie. Il se consacre également à l’encadrement de jeunes médecins et à l’accompagnement d’équipes en entreprise.
En parallèle de sa carrière médicale, Andrei est un musicien passionné et accompli. Depuis son adolescence, il étudie la guitare basse et la contrebasse, avec un intérêt particulier pour le jazz, la composition et l’improvisation. En 2014, il a élargi son expertise musicale en étudiant la musique classique indienne et la flûte bansuri, sous la tutelle du célèbre Pandit Nityanand Haldipur à Mumbai.
Actuellement, Andrei se produit en concert en Suisse et à l’international avec deux projets musicaux en cours : un trio de jazz et des performances en solo à la flûte bansuri. Il enseigne également occasionnellement dans les domaines du jazz et de la musique classique indienne. Sa rare combinaison de compétences en psychiatrie et en musique fait de lui une figure remarquable et polyvalente dans ces deux domaines.

Andrei Dragoi is a distinguished professional with a unique blend of expertise in both psychiatry and music. He was raised in Canada, where he completed his academic education, before returning to Romania, his birthplace, to pursue a medical degree. After graduating from medical school, he embarked on a psychiatric residency in Switzerland, where he has since built a successful career in various psychiatric hospitals and private clinics.
Since 2019, Andrei has been practicing in Switzerland, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in Lausanne. During this time, he specialized in family systemic therapy and hypnosis under the mentorship of the renowned Dr. Gerard Salem, a leading figure in the field until his passing in 2018.
Following Dr. Salem’s death, Andrei established his own private practice, where he continues to work as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Additionally, he serves as a guest consultant and supervisor at the Insight Consultation Clinic in Monthey.
Part of his professional activity occurs abroad. In this setting he offers flexible online consultations and therapies.
Andrei’s areas of specialization are extensive, encompassing general psychiatry and psychotherapy, family and couples therapy with a focus on abuse and violence, group therapy, hypnosis, and music therapy. He is also dedicated to mentoring junior doctors and providing guidance to corporate teams.
Alongside his medical career, Andrei is a passionate and accomplished musician. From his early teens, he has studied the electric bass and double bass, with a focus on jazz, composition, and improvisation. In 2014, he broadened his musical expertise by studying Indian classical music and the bansuri flute, under the tutelage of the esteemed Pandit Nityanand Haldipur in Mumbai.
Currently, Andrei leads and performs in concerts both in Switzerland and internationally, with two ongoing musical projects: a jazz trio and solo performances on the bansuri flute. He also occasionally teaches in both the jazz and Indian classical music domains. His rare combination of skills in psychiatry and music positions him as a remarkable and versatile figure in both fields.
